view from the pool into the daylily area is breathtaking in peak season. |

Garden visitors can view approximately 1,000 cultivars. We

Daylilies in the mist. |

View to the east from a recently developed bed. Most of our
soil is clay so we created raised beds using over 5,000 yards of wood chips as the bed
base. It takes a few years for the chips to decompose. |

Peak season after a storm. 60" of rain per year is not
unusual. In a typical winter there are 2-4 hard freezes below 20 F. |

In the foreground is one of our original beds planted in 1991
after we moved from Michigan. What started as hobby turned into a business(retirement
hobby) in 1992. |

Our very first customers writing a check at our outdoor office. Obviously this is a rural

yes, horses absolutely love the taste of daylily foliage. |

Using a golf cart allows us to fill orders faster. Linda likes to drive. |

It took a visiting snow bird, my wife's sister, to stock the house with vases of flowers. |

Peak season in May is a visual feast. Bluebirds, wrens, and other birds plus toads and
beneficial insects keep pests under control. |

Our daylilies grow fine without the use of pesticides. |

Three bald cyprus thrive in a low wet location. A wide range of plants that
host birds and beneficial insects are on the property. |
